Environmental Site Assessments
GC&T employs a phased approach to environmental assessments. A
Phase I Environmental Assessment determines the current
condition
of a site and identifies any existing or potential environmental
concerns. |
 |
A Phase I Environmental Assessment includes a review of
site history, analysis of historical aerial photography, a visit to the
site to document the present surface conditions and operating
practices, a review of regulatory agency records concerning the site
and immediate vicinity, and preparation of a final report.
A
Phase II Investigation assesses environmental concerns
identified
during the Phase I assesment. A Phase II Investigation
may
include sampling of
surface soils, subsurface soils, and/or groundwater depending on the
specific environmental concerns.
Professional
Engineers and Environmental Scientists supervise GC&T's work.
We perform analytical testing in laboratories accredited by
the
appropriate regulatory agencies or independent accreditation
organizations.
