Environmental Site Assessments
GC&T employs a phased approach to environmental assessments. A Phase I Environmental Assessment is performed to determine the current condition and to identify any existing or potential environmental concerns. |

The work of GC&T is performed under the supervision of Professional Engineers and Environmental Scientists. Analytical testing is performed in laboratories which are accredited by the appropriate regulatory agencies or independent accreditation organizations.
A Phase II Investigation is performed to assess environmental concerns identified during the Phase I Investigation.
Phase I Assessments: A Phase I Environmental Assessment includes a review of site history, analysis of historical aerial photography, a visit to the site to document the present surface conditions and operating practices, a review of regulatory agency records concerning the site and immediate vicinity, and preparation of a final report.
Phase II Assessments: A Phase II Investigation may include sampling of surface soils, subsurface soils, and/or groundwater depending on the specific environmental concerns.
