Description

A 125,000 square foot new warehouse/flex building was constructed adjacent to the Manassas Regional Airport. The building consists of 13 bays with 2 loading docks for each bay. The exterior of the building consists of precast concrete panels. The project also included parking spaces surrounding the building and a stormwater management pond.

 

Project Highlights

GC&T provided the following services for the project:

 

(i)              Testing of foundation bearing, soil compaction, concrete, mortar, grout, and structural steel in accordance with the Prince William County Special Inspection Program.

 

(ii)                Testing of site work elements such as utility backfill, stone and asphalt for the parking lot, and concrete for curb and gutter.

 

(iii)        GC&T represented the owner as both Geotechnical Engineer of Record and Special Inspections Engineer of Record.
